Lets say you had some friends who were going to go from Nashville, TN to the Grand Canyon. What should they make sure to see in between?
Currently said friends only have "antelope canyon" on the list so help us out.

Go scope out Area 51! I've always thought it'd be cool to see the fences that say you'll be shot if you try to cross... Hoover Dam, Yellowstone,
Ohh - you could wait 'til College Football starts back and then tour around - going to different games every weekend. (if that suits you)
Another idea is sonoma - wine country - i've always wanted to go out there.
Petroleum Museum in Midland, TX.... and if that doesn't suit you it could always be a good pit stop lol

I don't know of much along the way, but I would definitely make it a Grand Canyon/Utah trip. There are several parks I want to see there, like Zion, Bryce Canyon and Arches.
